Márcio Paraibano hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the game, Chorona EC's Diamantino Trancoso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felipe Correia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 13 minutes into the game, Felipe Penha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chorona EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pocete FC the free kick. In the 22nd minute Sílvio Luiz Catarinense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeu Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Felipe Penha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sílvio Luiz Catarinense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Romeu Sanches tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sílvio Luiz Catarinense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Sanches having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Sílvio Luiz Catarinense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Chorona EC's goalkeeper Romeu Sanches, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino Trancoso in the 43rd minute of play forced Pocete FC's goalkeeper Felipe Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Yan Paraibano made the kick off in the second half. Romeu Sanches took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubinho Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romeu Sanches made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Luiz Catarinense in the 58th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Sílvio Luiz Catarinense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pocete FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sílvio Luiz Catarinense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeu Sanches breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rubinho Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Romeu Sanches tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sílvio Luiz Catarinense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 65 minutes of play, Pocete FC's Rubinho Melo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romeu Sanches was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felipe Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yan Paraibano in the 70th minute of play. Yan Paraibano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Felipe Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubinho Melo in the 76th minute of play forced Chorona EC's goalkeeper Romeu Sanches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rubinho Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diamantino Trancoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Válter Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pocete FC's Felipe Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yan Paraibano in the 95th minute of play.
