Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gilvan Reis started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Luizinho Matos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caxanga SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trussu the free kick. In the 3rd match minute, Caxanga SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizinho Matos to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the match, Caxanga SS's goal looked a bit too open when Umberto Soeiro came free, but Severino Vinhas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 played minutes, Caxanga SS's Marcel Senna shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Chicão do Valle came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Caxanga SS reached it. Chicão do Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glauco Luz in the 13th minute of play. Gilvan Reis took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chicão do Valle. Chicão do Valle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Umberto Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lenílson Pitta in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Severino Vinhas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lenílson Pitta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With splendid footwork Umberto Soeiro arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-1 by the left pole in the game's 29th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Trussu's goal looked a bit too open when Gilvan Reis came free, but Chicão do Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Lenílson Pitta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severino Vinhas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Vito Duarte hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 44 minutes in the game Edgard Guedes got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. After 45 played minutes Caxanga SS got a freekick which was hit by Lauro Arósio. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Umberto Soeiro to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Trussu's Lenílson Pitta made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severino Vinhas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Umberto Soeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severino Vinhas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. After 57 played minutes Caxanga SS got a freekick which was hit by Oséias Torres. Umberto Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Severino Vinhas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lenílson Pitta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st match minute, Caxanga SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vito Duarte to maneuver through the defense. The audience held their breath when Edgard Guedes in the 63rd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Severino Vinhas's left hand side. When Trussu's Umberto Soeiro in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caxanga SS's goalie prevented a goal. Lenílson Pitta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severino Vinhas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Guilherme de Queirós hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Lenílson Pitta scored 4-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Severino Vinhas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Severino Vinhas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lenílson Pitta in the 77th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Caxanga SS's zone, Umberto Soeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Vinhas came out of the goal and Umberto Soeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caxanga SS's Severino Vinhas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto Soeiro in the 83rd minute of play. Severino Vinhas came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Trussu's Lenílson Pitta. But to his dismay, Lenílson Pitta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Lenílson Pitta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Severino Vinhas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Caxanga SS's goal looked a bit too open when Lenílson Pitta came free, but Severino Vinhas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Umberto Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Severino Vinhas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
