Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Evaristo Martins kicked off to start the match. Zé Correia charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zé Correia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 5th minute, Zé Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Percival Terra hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. A collision led to Corinthians getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Edvaldo Reis hit a great ball. Vitório Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Vega in the 13th minute of play. Ernesto Vega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antônio Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Martins in the 18th minute of play. Calcoene's Antônio Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Martins in the 19th minute of play. Antônio Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandrinho Rossi, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Vasiliy Kirichenko was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 36th minute. Calcoene's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 40 played minutes Corinthians got a freekick which was hit by Percival Terra. 42 minutes into the game, Vasiliy Kirichenko recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vitório Pontes. Vasiliy Kirichenko showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vasiliy Kirichenko to make the kick off. In the 50th minute Vasiliy Kirichenko suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Albertinho Garcia hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percival Terra in the 53rd minute of play forced Calcoene's goalkeeper Antônio Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antônio Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 61 played minutes Calcoene got a freekick which was hit by Luan Breckenfeld. Vitório Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Correia in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Evaristo Martins reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Antônio Alcântara. The goal made the score 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Corinthians's zone, Luan Breckenfeld stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vitório Pontes came out of the goal and Luan Breckenfeld tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zé Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vitório Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisinho Bezerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Ernesto Vega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evaristo Martins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antônio Alcântara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Ernesto Vega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitório Pontes having to interfere. Zé Correia struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Vitório Pontes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calcoene. Percival Terra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antônio Alcântara having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Calcoene failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
