Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Walmir Dante started the match with the kick off. When Zé Pedro Albuquerque came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the SC Internacional fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Pedro Albuquerque couldn't finish the play. Jailson Vianna lost his temper 8 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 7th minute, one of SC Internacional:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Internacional. The referee gave Esperanza EC a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sebastião Cordeiro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Internacional's Dênis da Silveira. 0-1. Dênis da Silveira went to the wrong direction when Sebastião Cordeiro was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Dênis da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilvan Sarmento in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Paulo Nóbrega in the 21st minute of play forced Esperanza EC's goalkeeper Rafael Eger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Víktor Britto kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Dênis da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilvan Sarmento in the 23rd minute of the match. Nelson Sergipano hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Dênis da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilvan Sarmento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Zé Paulo Nóbrega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Paulo Nóbrega to make the kick off. Dênis da Silveira didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 55th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. Gilvan Sarmento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rafael Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sydney de Mendonça in the 83rd minute of the match. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Esperanza EC! The referee gave SC Internacional a penalty, 97 minutes into the game.
