Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Victor da Costa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Cearense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mage SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anajaz AD the free kick. After 4 played minutes Mage SS got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Cearense. Victor da Costa was extremely unlucky when he, in the 18th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Albertino Xavier hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Anajaz AD's Rodolfo de Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Rodolfo de Queirós got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Anajaz AD getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Nilton Vides hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Anajaz AD's Luisão Porto got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The audience was convinced that Victor da Costa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Conrado Pontes was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Germano da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Alfredo Sarmento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute of the match Luizão Souza sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredo Sarmento skillfully saved the ball. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Anajaz AD's goalkeeper Conrado Pontes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Luiz Mattos hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. João Francisco da Silva struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Conrado Pontes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mage SS. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Germano da Fonseca to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Rodolfo de Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conrado Pontes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Francisco da Silva went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Luizinho Hoffmann charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luizinho Hoffmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mage SS booed when Anajaz AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizinho Hoffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Anajaz AD's goal looked a bit too open when Victor da Costa came free, but Conrado Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Germano da Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If João Francisco da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Francisco da Silva scored 2-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Conrado Pontes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Victor da Costa sped through Anajaz AD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Conrado Pontes. João Francisco da Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Mage SS's Victor da Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Conrado Pontes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. During the 85th minute of the match Arnaldo Cearense completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Arnaldo Cearense a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Anajaz AD booed when Mage SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Germano da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Alfredo Sarmento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, Mage SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Francisco da Silva to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mage SS's goalkeeper Alfredo Sarmento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mage SS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Anajaz AD had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
