Gualter Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germano da Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Rodolfo de Queirós struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Gualter Leão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anajaz AD. If Emílio de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jonas Bertassi fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bardo Esporte Clube MZB's protests and gave Jonas Bertassi a yellow card for diving instead. Germano da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Gualter Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo de Queirós got free with Gualter Leão in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 33 played minutes Bardo Esporte Clube MZB got a freekick which was hit by Emílio de Amorim. Benjamim Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the game, Emílio de Amorim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Conrado Pontes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Anajaz AD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bardo Esporte Clube MZB were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benjamim Peres made a kick off. If Benjamim Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the match, Bardo Esporte Clube MZB's goal looked a bit too open when Luizinho Hoffmann came free, but Gualter Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emílio de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Pontes having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Anajaz AD's zone, Benjamim Peres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conrado Pontes came out of the goal and Benjamim Peres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodolfo de Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Gualter Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emílio de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Pontes having to interfere. With a little luck, Anajaz AD's Conrado Pontes got control of the ball when Emílio de Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Bardo Esporte Clube MZB's goal looked a bit too open when Germano da Fonseca came free, but Gualter Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Anajaz AD's Rodolfo de Queirós sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gualter Leão narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
