Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Benjamim Peres took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Emílio de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the match, Mage SS's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio de Amorim came free, but Alfredo Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor da Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the match, Bardo Esporte Clube MZB's goal looked a bit too open when João Francisco da Silva came free, but Gualter Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gualter Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor da Costa in the 13th minute of play. Alfredo Sarmento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emílio de Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Benjamim Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Alfredo Sarmento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dé Pombal hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. When Dé Pombal fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bardo Esporte Clube MZB's protests and gave Dé Pombal a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Bardo Esporte Clube MZB's Jonas Bertassi got a free kick in the 26th minute. Hélder Amaral took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gualter Leão. Bardo Esporte Clube MZB's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio de Amorim in the 30th minute of play forced Mage SS's goalkeeper Alfredo Sarmento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Benjamim Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. João Francisco da Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gualter Leão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Arnaldo Cearense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mage SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo Cearense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualter Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Victor da Costa made the kick off in the second half. If Victor da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Renato Simão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Francisco da Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rdth minute of the game Victor da Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bardo Esporte Clube MZB's Gualter Leão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bardo Esporte Clube MZB's Gualter Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor da Costa in the 76th minute of play. Gualter Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor da Costa in the 85th minute of play. After some careless play in the Bardo Esporte Clube MZB defense, João Francisco da Silva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gualter Leão. The Bardo Esporte Clube MZB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gualter Leão should have stopped the shot. João Francisco da Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualter Leão having to interfere. Bardo Esporte Clube MZB's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
