C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Augusto Sanches came free, but Nico Alagoano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lino Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilvan Dracena in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel de Amaral in the 19th minute of play forced BlackBridge F. C.'s goalkeeper Nico Alagoano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nico Alagoano having to interfere. Nico Alagoano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Augusto Sanches in the 24th minute of the match. Lino Viana came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by BlackBridge F. C.'s Erivaldo Sergipano. But to his dismay, Erivaldo Sergipano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Nico Alagoano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Augusto Sanches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erivaldo Sergipano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Abel de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Augusto Sanches received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Nico Alagoano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Sport Club Imprensa - VAD's goal looked a bit too open when Gilvan Dracena came free, but Lino Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Augusto Sanches to strike the kick off in the second half. Zé Alves hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Abel de Amaral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Nico Alagoano made a huge save. When BlackBridge F. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilvan Dracena in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lino Viana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lino Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erivaldo Sergipano, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. If Gilvan Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 81 minutes, Túlio Berger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sport Club Imprensa - VAD and the BlackBridge F. C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd match minute, Sport Club Imprensa - VAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Túlio Berger to maneuver through the defense. Sport Club Imprensa - VAD's Carlos Augusto Sanches got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erivaldo Sergipano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lino Viana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Lino Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilvan Dracena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilvan Dracena in the 92nd minute of play forced Sport Club Imprensa - VAD's goalkeeper Lino Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Luís Guilherme de Souza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
