Ulysses Secco was a little too slow when Luís Paulo Abreu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. Luís Paulo Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Otavianos FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Vinícius Alves hit a great ball. Luís Paulo Abreu scored 2-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ulysses Secco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35th minute, Luís Paulo Abreu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ulysses Secco. The goal made the score 3-0. A hard shot 40 in the game by Luís Paulo Abreu from a close distance when the talented Ulysses Secco managed to make a qualified save. Otavianos FC's players were relieved. Tomé Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulysses Secco having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Luís Paulo Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paula SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Paulo Abreu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulysses Secco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eurico Varela to strike the kick off in the second half. Amauri Vander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eurico Varela's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Vito Trigo's late challenge caught a Paula SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ismael Campidelis hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute of the match Celso Ferreira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ulysses Secco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Luís Paulo Abreu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulysses Secco was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Otavianos FC's zone, Luís Paulo Abreu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulysses Secco came out of the goal and Luís Paulo Abreu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Paula SS fully deserved thier win.
