Uomaloli's Ulysses Carvalho got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulysses Carvalho in the 6th minute of play forced Contendas's goalkeeper Geovânio Ferraz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Gerber struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Geovânio Ferraz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uomaloli. Pedro Corrêa hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 10thth minute of the game Ulysses Carvalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Contendas's Geovânio Ferraz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valério Fantini kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. When Carlinhos Zanette came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Contendas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlinhos Zanette couldn't finish the play. Ronaldo Cardozo hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlinhos Zanette in the 26th minute of play forced Uomaloli's goalkeeper Arnaldo Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geovânio Ferraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 31 played minutes Contendas got a freekick which was hit by Carlinhos Zanette. If Emanuel Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Contendas's goalkeeper Geovânio Ferraz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Gerber. Uomaloli's Emanuel Gerber got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ulysses Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Uomaloli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulysses Carvalho couldn't finish the play. Geovânio Ferraz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Gerber in the 42nd minute. Ulysses Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Geovânio Ferraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Uomaloli's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cléberson Santana in the 53rd minute. Emanuel Gerber charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Gerber the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emanuel Gerber kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Fausto Souto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Galvão having to interfere. Carlinhos Zanette might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnaldo Galvão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlinhos Zanette ran back to his position shaking his head. 57 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Cardozo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uomaloli's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Contendas the free kick. In the 58th minute, Ronaldo Cardozo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Contendas's Marcos Braga shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 59th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Arnaldo Galvão but with some difficulty. Emanuel Gerber's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geovânio Ferraz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Ulysses Carvalho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geovânio Ferraz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The supporters of Contendas booed when Uomaloli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldo Cardozo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fausto Souto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Arnaldo Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
