Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) neiboure's Maurício Dracena started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Henrique Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olívio Azevedo during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th minute, Maurício Dracena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The neiboure fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Sidnei de Medeiros charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sidnei de Medeiros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 24 minutes into the game, one of E. C. Fernandes:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Nicolas Nascimento had in the 26thth minute some difficulties stopping Narciso Gerber's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Narciso Gerber notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of E. C. Fernandes's Nicolas Nascimento. Nicolas Nascimento was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Henrique Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albertinho Lago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Tomás Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Henrique Fantini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicolas Nascimento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maurício Dracena's shot from short distance in the 37th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugênio Carioca to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Albertinho Lago had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomás Cardoso. neiboure's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albertinho Lago was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Jorge Dante kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, neiboure's Narciso Gerber tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. E. C. Fernandes's Nicolas Nascimento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save E. C. Fernandes from getting a goal against them. Maurício Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Nascimento having to interfere. Maurício Dracena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Maurício Dracena fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 78 minutes, Henrique Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. neiboure's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrique Fantini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jorge Dante hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. When Henrique Fantini fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored neiboure's protests and gave Henrique Fantini a yellow card for diving instead. After 83 played minutes neiboure got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Fantini. Henrique Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Nascimento having to interfere. E. C. Fernandes's Nicolas Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurício Dracena in the 89th minute of play. After 90 played minutes E. C. Fernandes got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Dante. Maurício Dracena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicolas Nascimento having to make a save. The E. C. Fernandes fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. neiboure were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
