Jacuecanga FC's Rodolfo Mattos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernani do Valle in the 5th minute of play. Ernani do Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Rodolfo Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ernani do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nico Pimenta scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodolfo Mattos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ernani do Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Rodolfo Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Alfred Gdaniec got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ernani do Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Rodolfo Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mijo Futebol Clube's Eusébio Passos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico da Costa in the 35th minute of play. Wilian Corrêa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rodolfo Mattos. Jacuecanga FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ernani do Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. If Nico Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, Mijo Futebol Clube's Ernani do Valle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodolfo Mattos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Nico da Costa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eusébio Passos, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Túlio Netto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mijo Futebol Clube's Eusébio Passos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateus Loyola in the 53rd minute of play. Eusébio Passos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Túlio Netto in the 55th minute of the match. Jacuecanga FC's Rodolfo Mattos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Gdaniec in the 57th minute of play. Eusébio Passos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fabiano Castro in the 61st minute of play. Rodolfo Mattos came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mijo Futebol Clube's Alfred Gdaniec. But to his dismay, Alfred Gdaniec quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Eusébio Passos came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Jacuecanga FC's Túlio Netto. But to his dismay, Túlio Netto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Alfred Gdaniec could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Rodolfo Mattos made a huge save. Alfred Gdaniec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Rodolfo Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 75 minutes of play, Jacuecanga FC's Luís Fabiano Castro made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eusébio Passos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wilian Corrêa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rodolfo Mattos. Jacuecanga FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernani do Valle in the 84th minute of play forced Jacuecanga FC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Mattos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernani do Valle's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Rodolfo Mattos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alfred Gdaniec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Mattos having to interfere. Eusébio Passos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Túlio Netto, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. A hard shot by Osvaldo Matorin from long distance, 97 minutes into the match, got Rodolfo Mattos's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Many of Mijo Futebol Clube's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Mijo Futebol Clube may have spent more time on the ball, but Jacuecanga FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
