Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Túlio Brodel took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Túlio Brodel in the 3rd minute of play forced Praca AD's goalkeeper Teodoro Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Manoel Quintal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Praca AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Manoel Quintal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Dracena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Porto Sairú F.C.'s zone, Manoel Quintal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Dracena came out of the goal and Manoel Quintal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zé Pedro Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Eduardo Dracena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduardo Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Pedro Loureiro in the 18th minute of play. Fernandinho Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristiano Moraes got free with Teodoro Varela in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute Manoel Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Dracena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Porto Sairú F.C.'s Eduardo Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Pedro Loureiro in the 26th minute of play. Cristiano Moraes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Teodoro Varela made a huge save. Túlio Brodel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Varela having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Cristiano Moraes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Teodoro Varela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 38th minute Manoel Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Dracena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Túlio Brodel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Cristiano Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 49th minute the ball was on its way in behind Porto Sairú F.C.'s goalkeeper Eduardo Dracena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Eduardo Dracena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manoel Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 53 minutes, Reinaldo Soares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Porto Sairú F.C. and the Praca AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Reinaldo Soares hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, Praca AD's Zé Pedro Loureiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. If Zé Pedro Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zé Pedro Loureiro in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eduardo Dracena, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Praca AD's zone, Túlio Brodel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Varela came out of the goal and Túlio Brodel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristiano Moraes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teodoro Varela having to make a save. Zé Pedro Loureiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Dracena made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Zé Pedro Loureiro sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st match minute, Porto Sairú F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernandinho Sousa to maneuver through the defense. If Manoel Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
