Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Praca AD's Manoel Quintal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Mucaja SS's Osmar Terra got control of the ball when Zé Pedro Loureiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Betão Vidal hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Teodoro Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fabiano Simão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodoro Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Medeiros in the 14th minute of play. Zé Pedro Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Osmar Terra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the game, Luís Fabiano Simão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Teodoro Varela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mucaja SS's goalkeeper Osmar Terra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Teodoro Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Luís Fabiano Simão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Varela having to interfere. Teodoro Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fabiano Simão in the 32nd minute of the match. Luís Fabiano Simão might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodoro Varela. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Fabiano Simão ran back to his position shaking his head. When Mucaja SS's Leopoldo Medeiros in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Praca AD's goalie prevented a goal. If Leopoldo Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faustão Quintal kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Mucaja SS's Luís Fabiano Simão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teodoro Varela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Fabiano Simão to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Zé Pedro Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osmar Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Fabiano Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Teodoro Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Praca AD's Teodoro Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Gomes in the 60th minute of play. Luís Fabiano Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Fabiano Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. In the 75th play minute Leopoldo Medeiros came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Teodoro Varela. 0-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronaldão Terra during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Praca AD booed when Mucaja SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldão Terra didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute Manoel Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osmar Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopoldo Medeiros struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Teodoro Varela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mucaja SS.
