Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Matías Tasso started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Molheiros's Arlindo Sena got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Ricardo Baptista struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Elder Luz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Molheiros. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galaticos F.C's goalkeeper Elder Luz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Galaticos F.C getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Fred Ramos hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Galaticos F.C's zone, Toninho Paes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elder Luz came out of the goal and Toninho Paes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jano Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Molheiros's Ricardo Baptista got a free kick in the 24th minute. Elder Luz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jano Silveira's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, Galaticos F.C's Fred Ramos got a free kick in the 27th minute. When Jacinto Ferraz came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Molheiros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Ferraz couldn't finish the play. 42 minutes into the game, Geovani Linares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Zé Campidelis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Toninho Paes made a kick off. Geovani Linares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Arlindo Sena fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Molheiros's protests and gave Arlindo Sena a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th match minute, Molheiros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arlindo Sena to maneuver through the defense. If Matías Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The goalkeeper, Elder Luz, was totally fooled by Molheiros's Fiori Gomes, who 62 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After some careless play in the Galaticos F.C defense, Toninho Paes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elder Luz. The Galaticos F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elder Luz should have stopped the shot. Jano Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Elder Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Geovani Linares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matías Tasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Campidelis having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Toninho Paes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Elder Luz. The goal made the score 1-3. Ricardo Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geovani Linares in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Campidelis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Molheiros booed when Galaticos F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Pedro Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball.
