Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Edgar Santos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Rodolfo França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Santos in the 4th minute of play. Romário Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dedê da Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Dedé Botelho made a huge save. Cauã Toledo lost his temper 14 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Jacaraipe:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Geroky:s goal. When the match had been going on for 16 minutes, Geroky's Natanael Ceresso got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dedé Botelho. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Nicolas Soares took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Dedé Botelho to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Geroky's Dedê da Costa got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 31st minute, Valdo Teles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dedé Botelho made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Dedê da Costa sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Dedé Botelho managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Geroky's Dedê da Costa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pedro Augusto Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo França having to interfere. Romário Moreno hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dedê da Costa made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Jacaraipe got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Augusto Furlan. Rodolfo França made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Pedro Augusto Furlan sent off a good shot on target. Benjamin Melo's late challenge caught a Jacaraipe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamin Melo helped the player get up and apologised. Geroky's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Pedro Augusto Furlan scored to the left of an out of position Rodolfo França, making the score, 2-1. After 74 minutes, Edgar Santos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jacaraipe and the Geroky players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Dedê da Costa came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Geroky fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dedê da Costa couldn't finish the play. Valdo Teles charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valdo Teles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dedé Botelho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dedê da Costa's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. If Romário Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Geroky had played much better football throughout.
