Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Giuseppe Mello started the match with the kick off. Nelsinho Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 6th match minute, Ubari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarcisio de Lara to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, Unistalda's Pedro Prado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nelsinho Barreto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 8 played minutes Ubari got a freekick which was hit by Tarcisio de Lara. Pedro Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Unistalda's Pedro Prado in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ubari's goalie prevented a goal. Giuseppe Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Fernando Koehler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giuseppe Mello in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Unistalda's goalkeeper Carlos Fernando Koehler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 31 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Unistalda's Pedro Prado fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Nelsinho Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeu dos Santos in the 33rd minute of play. Romeu dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ubari's Nelsinho Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Prado in the 45th minute of play. Pedro Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Nelsinho Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Prado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Giovani Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Fernando Koehler having to interfere. Unistalda's Romeu dos Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romeu dos Santos got in the 60th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Nelsinho Barreto handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After some careless play in the Ubari defense, Romeu dos Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nelsinho Barreto. The Ubari fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nelsinho Barreto should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Unistalda's Sílvio Luiz Messias got a free kick in the 69th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giuseppe Mello in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Fernando Koehler saved Unistalda from getting behind. Romeu dos Santos took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nelsinho Barreto. Nelsinho Barreto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Pedro Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Nelsinho Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ubari's Tarcisio de Lara got a free kick in the 78th minute. Pedro Prado struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Nelsinho Barreto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unistalda. A collision led to Ubari getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Moisés Sampaio hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, Ubari's goalkeeper Nelsinho Barreto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romeu dos Santos. 90 minutes into the game, Pedro Prado recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nelsinho Barreto. Pedro Prado showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Giovani Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Fernando Koehler having to interfere.
