Clube Delta de Futebol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Prado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Carlos Fernando Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genílson Santana in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Unistalda's Pedro Prado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Denílson Romero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Denílson Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeu dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Pedro Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Denílson Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romeu dos Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Unistalda fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Unistalda's Pedro Prado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Genílson Santana to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Clube Delta de Futebol's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Prado came free, but Denílson Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 70 minutes, Arthur Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clube Delta de Futebol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arthur Moraes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Clube Delta de Futebol booed when Unistalda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Luiz Messias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Fernando Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genílson Santana in the 72nd minute of play. With 78 minutes on the clock, Rony Eger commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Unistalda fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! If Genílson Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Unistalda's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Moraes came free, but Carlos Fernando Koehler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Romeu dos Santos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gilmar Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 99 minutes into the match, Romeu dos Santos notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Clube Delta de Futebol's Denílson Romero. Denílson Romero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Unistalda had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
