Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Marcelino's Giovani Branco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Diamantino Baptista was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Giovani Branco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. When Ligeiro F.C's Sebastião Cabral in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A collision led to Ligeiro F.C getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Oséias Miranda hit a great ball. Ademir Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastião Cabral to strike the kick off in the second half. Diamantino Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Paiva in the 55th minute of the match. If Nuno Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Diego Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diamantino Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovani Branco in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Ligeiro F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Paiva came free, but Diamantino Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 63 minutes, Juan Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
