Sidão Trader's Romário Prado got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romário Prado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernando de Souza having to make a save. Sidão Trader's Basílio Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaká Meireles in the 14th minute of play. Fernando de Souza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilvan Simão's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. After 16 minutes, Kaká Meireles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vem que é duro and the Sidão Trader players grew even worse after the yellow card. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
