Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gilvan Simão kicked off to start the match. Basílio Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Augusto Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mário Rocha got free with Basílio Coelho in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 6 played minutes, Sidão Trader's Delfim Prestes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Henrique Donatello came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sidão Trader reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Gilvan Simão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sidão Trader's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilvan Simão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrique Donatello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henrique Donatello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilvan Simão's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Gilvan Simão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henrique Donatello. PALMEIRAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilvan Simão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Basílio Coelho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mário Rocha in the 19th minute. Romário Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 29 played minutes, Sidão Trader's José Vítor Saraiva shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Henrique Donatello came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sidão Trader reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Percy Linares during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd minute of the match, Miguel Recife got a very nice opportunity to score, but Basílio Coelho was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Miguel Recife hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Romário Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Donatello having to interfere. A collision led to PALMEIRAS getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Fernandinho Pimenta hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Augusto Martins stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Gilvan Simão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrique Donatello was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. 54 minutes into the game, Sidão Trader's Gilvan Simão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henrique Donatello made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Henrique Donatello was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from José Vítor Saraiva. Romário Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Henrique Donatello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romário Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 74th minute, João Augusto Martins made a precise shot to the right of Basílio Coelho. Sidão Trader's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilvan Simão in the 78th minute of play forced PALMEIRAS's goalkeeper Henrique Donatello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PALMEIRAS's Henrique Donatello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save PALMEIRAS from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute Mário Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, PALMEIRAS's goalkeeper Henrique Donatello had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romário Prado. After having played for 87 minutes, Mazinho Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sidão Trader's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mazinho Romero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Romário Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Henrique Donatello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sidão Trader's Gilvan Simão in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PALMEIRAS's goalie prevented a goal. 93 minutes into the match, Sidão Trader's Romário Prado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henrique Donatello narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilvan Simão in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrique Donatello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Romário Prado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henrique Donatello having to make a save. Sidão Trader played a much better game than PALMEIRAS and deserved their victory. The PALMEIRAS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
