Guga Pires made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Nico Massa sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute Ediberto Medeiros suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Toninho Queiroz's late challenge caught a Pracinha SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Toninho Queiroz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Pracinha SC booed when Real Parque FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toninho Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Cléberson Araújo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gualter de Azevedo skillfully saved the ball. After 23 played minutes Real Parque FC got a freekick which was hit by Germano Leite. Real Parque FC's Gualter de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tostão França in the 26th minute of play. With a little luck, Pracinha SC's Guga Pires got control of the ball when Nico Massa tried to sneak it across the goal line. He walked away shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nico Massa got free with Guga Pires in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guga Pires made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nico Massa in the 40th minute. A collision led to Pracinha SC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Tostão França hit a great ball. Nico Massa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Guga Pires made a huge save. With his leg Guga Pires managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Real Parque FC's Nico Massa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tostão França made a kick off. Guga Pires stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nico Massa's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Nico Massa notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Pracinha SC's Guga Pires. Guga Pires was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gualter de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armindo Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. A collision led to Real Parque FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Toninho Queiroz hit a great ball. Pracinha SC's Horácio Bittencourt shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 71st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gualter de Azevedo but with some difficulty. The supporters of Pracinha SC booed when Real Parque FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toninho Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nico Massa in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guga Pires saved Pracinha SC from getting behind. With a little luck, Real Parque FC's Gualter de Azevedo got control of the ball when Tostão França tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 79th minute, Armindo Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Perivaldo Nascimento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Gualter de Azevedo made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Pracinha SC's zone, Deivid Mendes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guga Pires came out of the goal and Deivid Mendes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Real Parque FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
