Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Marcos Arósio made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Itonia SC booed when Argerita AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian de Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Inácio Simões came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Itonia SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inácio Simões couldn't finish the play. Cléberson Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Eduardo Freire having to interfere. Itonia SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Roger Lucas scored to the left of an out of position Carlos Eduardo Freire, making the score, 1-0. Itonia SC's Carlos Eduardo Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléberson Rossi in the 10th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Ricardinho Arósio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cléberson Rossi came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Argerita AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cléberson Rossi couldn't finish the play. In the 14th match minute, Argerita AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerônimo Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. After 20 played minutes Itonia SC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardinho Arósio. José Maria Teles's late challenge caught a Argerita AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Maria Teles helped the player get up and apologised. José Maria Teles hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute of the match Ernesto Urbano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Eduardo Freire skillfully saved the ball. The attack was good, but when Roger Lucas in the 25th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Itonia SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Cléberson Rossi scored to the left of an out of position Carlos Eduardo Freire, making the score, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cléberson Rossi in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Eduardo Freire saved Itonia SC from getting behind. Itonia SC's Carlos Eduardo Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléberson Rossi in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Itonia SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardinho Arósio to maneuver through the defense. Roger Lucas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Eduardo Freire having to make a save. After 42 played minutes Cléberson Rossi rounded Itonia SC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. When Gernando Moreno fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Argerita AD's protests and gave Gernando Moreno a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th match minute, Argerita AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gernando Moreno to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Itonia SC's José Maria Teles got a free kick in the 49th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Argerita AD's Ernesto Urbano tried to score from far away in the 50th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cléberson Rossi was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Roberto Vides's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Eduardo Freire was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. In the 67th minute, Cléberson Rossi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Eduardo Freire was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 75th minute, Roger Lucas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute Cléberson Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Eduardo Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cléberson Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Carlos Eduardo Freire tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cléberson Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Itonia SC's zone, Roger Lucas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Eduardo Freire came out of the goal and Roger Lucas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd match minute, Itonia SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardinho Arósio to maneuver through the defense. Cléberson Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97th minute Roger Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Eduardo Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Argerita AD players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
