The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Caetano Coutinho to strike the kick off in the second half. Roger Lucas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Carlinhos Recife made a huge save. Cléberson Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlinhos Recife having to interfere.
