An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrão Gonçalves in the 3rd minute of play forced Solanea EC's goalkeeper Silvério Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 7 played minutes Geovânio Vinhas rounded Solanea EC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 10th match minute, Prainhas AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphael Chaves to maneuver through the defense. Marcelo Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Alexandre Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, Prainhas AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrianinho de Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. After 17 played minutes Prainhas AD got a freekick which was hit by Pedrão Gonçalves. 19 minutes into the game, Eduardo Meira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Silvério Toledo. Eduardo Meira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Manfredo Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrianinho de Medeiros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Silvério Toledo made a huge save. In the 29th minute, Vito Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Solanea EC's Marcelo Carvalho in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. It was a penalty for Prainhas AD! 41 minutes into the game, Gugu Vides cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Alexandre Perez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Solanea EC's Gil Sampaio got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Adrianinho de Medeiros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Silvério Toledo made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manfredo Almeida stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Silvério Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrão Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Prainhas AD's goalkeeper Alexandre Perez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manfredo Almeida struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Alexandre Perez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Solanea EC. After 62 played minutes Prainhas AD got a freekick which was hit by Válbson Corrêa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raúl Fantini in the 67th minute of play forced Solanea EC's goalkeeper Silvério Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvério Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovânio Vinhas in the 68th minute of the match. Geovânio Vinhas succeeded in the game's 71st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Solanea EC's goalkeeper Silvério Toledo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wanderson Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Perez having to interfere. Many of Solanea EC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Solanea EC may have spent more time on the ball, but Prainhas AD were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
