After having played for 7 minutes, Sérgio Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Centralito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sérgio Lucas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Prainhas AD's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Nunes came free, but Alexandre Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 minutes of play, Centralito's Mário Nunes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexandre Perez was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Orlando Vander during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adrianinho de Medeiros took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luiz Fábio de Almeida. Centralito's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 18th match minute, Centralito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederico Leite to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Fábio de Almeida stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedrão Gonçalves's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Alexandre Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Nunes in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Raúl Fantini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, Centralito's Enrique Amaral broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 30th minute, Pedrão Gonçalves reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luiz Fábio de Almeida. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 36th minute Raúl Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fábio de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Centralito's Luiz Fábio de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raúl Fantini in the 36th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Sérgio Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Centralito's supporters rose to their feet, but Sérgio Lucas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Perez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Geovânio Vinhas scored 2-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luiz Fábio de Almeida, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mário Nunes made a kick off. Sérgio Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Alexandre Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Mário Nunes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alexandre Perez. The goal made the score 2-2. Naldo Eger kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Mário Nunes struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Alexandre Perez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Centralito. Prainhas AD's Alexandre Perez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Prainhas AD from getting a goal against them. After having played for 76 minutes, Mário Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Centralito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mário Nunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luiz Fábio de Almeida showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the final whistle sounded Centralito left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Prainhas AD.
