Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luiz Fabiano Esteves kicked off to start the match. 8 minutes into the match, Cosmos Internacional Club's goal looked a bit too open when Chiquinho Prata came free, but Nando Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 minutes, Ricardo Arantes made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cosmos Internacional Club's Nando Ramos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Chiquinho Prata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nando Ramos came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Ouricangas SC's Ricardo Arantes. But to his dismay, Ricardo Arantes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Osmar Paulista hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Róbson Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Vladimir Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nando Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chiquinho Prata in the 34th minute of the match. In the 38th match minute, Cosmos Internacional Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celsinho Pernambucano to maneuver through the defense. Nando Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Arantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Ouricangas SC's Ricardo Arantes got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ricardo Arantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Cosmos Internacional Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ouricangas SC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chiquinho Prata was the one to do the kick off. Ricardo Arantes took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nando Ramos. Nando Ramos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Nando Ramos made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Ricardo Arantes sent off a good shot on target. Ricardo Arantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Nando Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 played minutes Cosmos Internacional Club got a freekick which was hit by Celsinho Pernambucano. In the 61st match minute, Cosmos Internacional Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celsinho Pernambucano to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ouricangas SC's goalkeeper Vladimir Sena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cosmos Internacional Club's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Chiquinho Prata 72 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. When Ricardo Arantes fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ouricangas SC's protests and gave Ricardo Arantes a yellow card for diving instead. Nando Ramos made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Ricardo Arantes sent off a good shot on target. Chiquinho Prata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Nando Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ricardo Arantes came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Ouricangas SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Arantes couldn't finish the play. Amadeu Mangueira kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Chiquinho Prata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Chiquinho Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nando Ramos having to interfere. Ricardo Arantes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Nando Ramos made a huge save. Ouricangas SC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
