Rodriguinho de Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Para AD's Alfredão Pontes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodriguinho de Barros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35thth minute of the game Dudu Abraão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Para AD's Nestor Faria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Para AD's goal looked a bit too open when João Adolfo Mazza came free, but Nestor Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Umary SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Rodriguinho de Barros, was totally fooled by Para AD's Dedê Vianna, who 40 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Alfredão Pontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dudu Abraão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Nestor Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dudu Abraão made a kick off. Dudu Abraão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Adolfo Mazza's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Nestor Faria skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dudu Abraão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Faria having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Para AD's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Abraão came free, but Nestor Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 62 in the game by João Adolfo Mazza from a close distance when the talented Nestor Faria managed to make a qualified save. Para AD's players were relieved. If Dudu Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Para AD's Alfredão Pontes got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodriguinho de Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Guedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dudu Abraão struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Nestor Faria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Umary SC. When João Adolfo Mazza came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Umary SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Adolfo Mazza couldn't finish the play. João Adolfo Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Umary SC booed when Para AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafinha Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Para AD's Nestor Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Adolfo Mazza in the 90th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Umary SC's Dedê Bastos got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Umary SC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
