Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Washington de Moraes made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 5th minute, Nestor Leal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carlos Eduardo Loureiro. The goal made the score 1-0. Washington de Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sérgio Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Carlos Eduardo Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Nestor Leal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Eduardo Loureiro was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. After 24 played minutes, Hybrius FC's Luisinho Leal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alexsandro Nascimento came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hybrius FC reached it. Alexsandro Nascimento came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Hybrius FC's Washington de Moraes. But to his dismay, Washington de Moraes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Washington de Moraes struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Alexsandro Nascimento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hybrius FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nestor Leal in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Eduardo Loureiro saved Hybrius FC from getting behind. Hybrius FC's Carlos Eduardo Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Leal in the 35th minute of play. Washington de Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gugu Velloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexsandro Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Washington de Moraes in the 43rd minute of play. Angelo Mandrak charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelo Mandrak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th match minute, Campo Grande FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Mandrak to maneuver through the defense. Washington de Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Nascimento having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Leal in the 52nd minute of play forced Hybrius FC's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Hybrius FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sérgio Esteves came free, but Carlos Eduardo Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 58 minutes on the clock, Fernandão Perez commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Campo Grande FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hybrius FC:s goal. In the 64th minute, Sérgio Esteves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Campo Grande FC's zone, Washington de Moraes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexsandro Nascimento came out of the goal and Washington de Moraes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sérgio Esteves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Eduardo Loureiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Allan de Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Hybrius FC's Edvaldo Carvalho got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 76 minutes into the game, Campo Grande FC's Sérgio Esteves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Eduardo Loureiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 79th minute, Sebastião Jacinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Eduardo Loureiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sérgio Esteves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gugu Velloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
