In the 10th minute, one of Caipira SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Caipira SC. Gildo de Castro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 17th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jaime Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Alexsandro Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexsandro Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Nestor Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdo Almeida having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, Caipira SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walmir Diniz to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, Sérgio Esteves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valdo Almeida. Caipira SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sérgio Esteves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Jaime Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Nascimento having to interfere. 33 minutes in the game, Jaime Nascimento dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 39th minute Claudinho Rezende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexsandro Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Campo Grande FC's Alexsandro Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Nascimento in the 40th minute of play. Gildo de Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Nascimento having to interfere.

53 minutes into the match, Campo Grande FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gildo de Castro came free, but Alexsandro Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute, Jaime Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gildo de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gildo de Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Campo Grande FC's Alexsandro Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Nascimento in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Angelo Mandrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexsandro Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 played minutes Campo Grande FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Augusto Coelho. A collision led to Caipira SC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Walmir Diniz hit a great ball. Gildo de Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Alexsandro Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Campo Grande FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Nascimento came free, but Alexsandro Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdo Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. When Jaime Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Caipira SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Nascimento couldn't finish the play. Sérgio Esteves scored 0-3 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdo Almeida, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Augusto Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Caipira SC's Claudinho Rezende got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Walmir Diniz hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
