The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dráusio Pimenta to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elói Tinoco in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doriva Quadros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alexsandro Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Aelegrete's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
