The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 沈德誉 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. João Pedro Arruda struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. 沈德誉 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bogotá F.C. 20 minutes into the game, Bogotá F.C's Jardel Botelho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 沈德誉 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 25 minutes into the match, Caripi AD's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Botelho came free, but 沈德誉 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nilson de Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Eriberto Dionísio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jardel Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 39thth minute of the game Edmundo Guedes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caripi AD's 沈德誉 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 沈德誉 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Pedro Arruda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If João Pedro Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, one of Bogotá F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bogotá F.C. Eriberto Dionísio went to the wrong direction when Mazinho Matorin was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jardel Botelho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 沈德誉 was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jardel Botelho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 57 minute of play. Ronaldão Custódio hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match.
