Josué Saldanha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luan Toscano's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. GD Atlântico's Josué Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serginho Mendes in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Pedro Nogueira fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Juninho Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Gabriel Bertassi having to interfere. Juninho Messias scored 1-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tiago Gabriel Bertassi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 47 minutes into the match, GD Atlântico's goal looked a bit too open when Luan Toscano came free, but Josué Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

GD Atlântico's Josué Saldanha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save GD Atlântico from getting a goal against them. Tiago Gabriel Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Nogueira in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Luan Toscano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. GD Atlântico's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
