Ernani de Queiroz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adhemar Furlan in the 3rd minute. When Ulysses Arce fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Campineira SC's protests and gave Ulysses Arce a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Campineira SC's Ulysses Arce got a free kick in the 6th minute. A hard shot by Magno Esteves from long distance, 7 minutes into the match, got Ernani de Queiroz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Nilton Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brain Knol, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 14 played minutes Tomazinho got a freekick which was hit by Umberto Custódio. Brain Knol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilton Moraes having to interfere. Filipe Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Brain Knol might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nilton Moraes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brain Knol ran back to his position shaking his head. Nilton Moraes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brain Knol's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. The Tomazinho players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Campineira SC were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brain Knol made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Brain Knol recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nilton Moraes. Brain Knol showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. 60 minutes into the game, Filipe Montenegro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Campineira SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tomazinho the free kick. Filipe Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Célio Pombal in the 61st minute of play forced Campineira SC's goalkeeper Ernani de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 62 minutes of play, Campineira SC's Brain Knol made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nilton Moraes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nilton Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brain Knol in the 66th minute of play. Tomazinho's Nilton Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brain Knol in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute Kauã Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernani de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Campineira SC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Fabrizio Testa hit a great ball. Campineira SC's Fabrizio Testa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dino Barros in the 79 minute of the game. Brain Knol who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Nilton Moraes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Durvalino Meireles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilton Moraes having to interfere. Brain Knol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Nilton Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Adhemar Furlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernani de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Brain Knol fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nilton Moraes, passed just outside the right post. The Tomazinho fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Campineira SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
