Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luisinho Maciel took the kick off in the first half of the match. Nilton Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Acácio Paulista in the 20th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luisinho Maciel in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nilton Moraes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute of the match Magno Esteves sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hudson Barral skillfully saved the ball. In the 29th minute, Magno Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute of the match Oséias Palmeira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nilton Moraes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 40 minutes, Luisinho Maciel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goliath National Bank's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luisinho Maciel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kauã Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Adhemar Furlan came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Tomazinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adhemar Furlan couldn't finish the play. Goliath National Bank's Acácio Paulista got a good chance for a goal in the 50th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 55th minute, Ronaldão Coelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Kauã Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Tomazinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kauã Almeida couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute, Oséias Palmeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of Goliath National Bank:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tomazinho:s goal. In the 65th minute there was a penalty for Tomazinho. Célio Pombal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hudson Barral. 1-0. Nilton Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisinho Maciel in the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauã Almeida in the 70th minute of play forced Goliath National Bank's goalkeeper Hudson Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luisinho Maciel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kauã Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hudson Barral having to interfere. In the 80th minute Kauã Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hudson Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Tomazinho's Nilton Moraes got control of the ball when Acácio Paulista tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luisinho Maciel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
