Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hamílton Siqueira started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Prea booed when Roncador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredão Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute, Pedro Paulo Meireles reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vivaldo Vander. The goal made the score 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Paulo Meireles in the 11th minute of play forced Roncador's goalkeeper Vivaldo Vander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gugu Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Ceresso in the 14th minute of play. Vivaldo Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Paulo Meireles in the 17th minute of play. Prea's David Soares got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Ceresso in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gugu Pires saved Prea from getting behind. Hamílton Siqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Víktor Santana charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Víktor Santana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 34 played minutes Prea got a freekick which was hit by Víktor Santana. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Ceresso in the 35th minute of play forced Prea's goalkeeper Gugu Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Luís Ceresso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gugu Pires was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamílton Siqueira in the 46th minute of play forced Prea's goalkeeper Gugu Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Paulo Meireles to make the kick off. Pedro Paulo Meireles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Paulo Meireles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vivaldo Vander having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Luís Ceresso got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. João Vítor Berger kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Vivaldo Vander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Víktor Baiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vivaldo Vander was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Vivaldo Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Paulo Meireles in the 84th minute of play. Prea's Gernando de Barros pulled a muscle in his back after 85 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Alfredão Nascimento fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Roncador's protests and gave Alfredão Nascimento a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th match minute, Roncador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredão Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. Luís Ceresso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gugu Pires having to interfere. After 97 minutes, Cipriano de Almeida mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Prea and the Roncador players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Prea getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Cipriano de Almeida hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Roncador's José Augusto Medeiros in action when he in the 98th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! For all the effort they put into the match, the Roncador players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Prea.
