When Gugu de Alcântara, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 14 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Walmyr Abraão was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Black Panther FC's Franklin Munhoz got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Franklin Munhoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute Franklin Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmyr Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juninho Vander took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mathias Maciel. Mathias Maciel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Gugu de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 32 minutes of play, Bruto's Deivid Reis made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mathias Maciel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Franklin Munhoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bruto's goalkeeper Walmyr Abraão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 47th minute Deivid Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias Maciel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gugu de Alcântara made the kick off in the second half. If Franklin Munhoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the game, Deivid Reis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Mathias Maciel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 59 played minutes Bruto got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Renato Lima. Deivid Reis came free with the goalkeeper in the 62nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mathias Maciel could save by the left post. Deivid Reis struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Mathias Maciel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bruto. Mathias Maciel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belchior da Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. With his leg Mathias Maciel managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Bruto's Deivid Reis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Black Panther FC were furious when Thor Engeland was red carded, 75 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Black Panther FC! Deivid Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Black Panther FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Deivid Reis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bruto walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
