In the 6th match minute, Maxixeiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldinho Leal to maneuver through the defense. Benjamim Batista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Trigo in the 9th minute of play forced Maxixeiro's goalkeeper Benjamim Batista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Guilherme de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerson Capixaba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Charles Trigo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benjamim Batista. Maxixeiro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charles Trigo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Aratingauba FC's Gerson Capixaba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guilherme de Souza in the 23rd minute of play. Charles Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Benjamim Batista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29thth minute of the game Rogério Dante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maxixeiro's Benjamim Batista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benjamim Batista came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Aratingauba FC's Charles Trigo. But to his dismay, Charles Trigo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In a very dangerous position, a player in Maxixeiro fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! Jonathan Meira shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Benjamim Batista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charles Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Benjamim Batista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mané de Alcântara came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Maxixeiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mané de Alcântara couldn't finish the play. The Maxixeiro players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Aratingauba FC were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Charles Trigo made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Benjamim Batista managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Aratingauba FC's Rogério Dante fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Benjamim Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Trigo in the 58th minute of play. If Mané de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Paulinho Guerra fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maxixeiro's protests and gave Paulinho Guerra a yellow card for diving instead. Paulinho Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Rogério Dante sped through Maxixeiro's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benjamim Batista. Rogério Dante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rogério Dante came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Aratingauba FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogério Dante couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Trigo in the 76th minute of play forced Maxixeiro's goalkeeper Benjamim Batista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inácio Moura hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. If Rogério Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Mané de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamim Batista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogério Dante in the 90th minute. 92 minutes into the game, Osvaldinho Leal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maxixeiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aratingauba FC the free kick. The supporters of Aratingauba FC booed when Maxixeiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldinho Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogério Dante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Benjamim Batista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Aratingauba FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
