If Rogério Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inácio Moura hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, real madrid's Adelino Mangueira tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Charles Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, Rogério Dante notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of real madrid's Jano Magalhães. Jano Magalhães was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Rogério Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, real madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Trigo came free, but Jano Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Peres hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Charles Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jano Magalhães having to interfere. When Rogério Dante came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Aratingauba FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogério Dante couldn't finish the play. Jano Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind real madrid's goalkeeper Jano Magalhães, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 39 played minutes real madrid got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Prestes. 41 minutes into the match, real madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Trigo came free, but Jano Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Aratingauba FC's Charles Trigo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jano Magalhães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Charles Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jano Magalhães having to interfere. Jano Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogério Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The real madrid players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Aratingauba FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomás Aparecido to make the kick off. Jano Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Trigo in the 57th minute of play. Rogério Dante who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Jano Magalhães when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Charles Trigo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jano Magalhães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Jonathan Meira, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Gustavo Peres hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Rogério Dante's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Jano Magalhães skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. real madrid's Jano Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Trigo in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Aratingauba FC's Charles Trigo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. If Romário de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rogério Dante got free with Jano Magalhães in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Charles Trigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jano Magalhães made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Rogério Dante sent off a good shot on target. Romário de Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerson Capixaba having to interfere. The Aratingauba FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
