Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Conrado Travassos started the match with the kick off. 9 minutes into the game, TEAM NAME's Gilmar Penha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dorian Baiano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Oscar Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to TEAM NAME getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Hortêncio Goiano hit a great ball. Oscar Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Marquinhos Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simão da Costa during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th minute, Simão da Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Adrianinho Quaresma came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Igaracu SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrianinho Quaresma couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, Adrianinho Quaresma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilmar Penha to strike the kick off in the second half. If Wilson Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilmar Penha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dorian Baiano having to make a save. Wilson Mattos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Dorian Baiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, TEAM NAME's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Lucas came free, but Marquinhos Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gilmar Penha came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the TEAM NAME fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilmar Penha couldn't finish the play. After 78 minutes, Osvaldinho de Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TEAM NAME and the Igaracu SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, TEAM NAME's Osvaldinho de Carvalho got a free kick in the 79th minute. With his leg Dorian Baiano managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when TEAM NAME's Gilmar Penha fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dorian Baiano came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by TEAM NAME's Gilmar Penha. But to his dismay, Gilmar Penha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The supporters of TEAM NAME booed when Igaracu SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão da Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle went the supporters of TEAM NAME were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Igaracu SC side.
