Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the match, Grêmio Maringá's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson de Castro came free, but André Luís Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th match minute, Grêmio Maringá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cacá Duarte to maneuver through the defense. André Luís Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson de Castro in the 6th minute of play. André Luís Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tales Veloso in the 10th minute of the match. Wilson de Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. André Luís Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zézinho Terra was a little too slow when Patrick Duarte got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 19 played minutes Fartura got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Alves. André Luís Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson de Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. André Luís Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson de Castro in the 28th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilson de Castro in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Luís Dantas saved Grêmio Maringá from getting behind. If Wilson de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilson de Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Wilson de Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fartura's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilson de Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Luís Dantas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. André Luís Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson de Castro in the 53rd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the game, Zé Pedro Sena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grêmio Maringá's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fartura the free kick. The supporters of Fartura booed when Grêmio Maringá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Pedro Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tales Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grêmio Maringá's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Wilson de Castro scored to the left of an out of position André Luís Dantas, making the score, 1-1. If Wilson de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Luís Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Catarinense in the 67th minute of the match. After having played for 69 minutes, Wilson de Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fartura's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilson de Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raimundo Catarinense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Luís Dantas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Wilson de Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Luís Dantas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tales Veloso in the 75th minute. When Zé Pedro Sena was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. 1-2 came through a penalty shot after 84 played minutes, when Fartura:s Joaquim Fernandes calmly waited for Grêmio Maringá:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Wilson de Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tales Veloso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but André Luís Dantas made a huge save. In the 91st minute, Wilson de Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wilson de Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
