Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Seco started the match with the kick off. Cesinha Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th match minute, Falcatrua F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Vides to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Diorama AD's Simão Tande in action when he in the 14th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! An unexpectedly hard shot by Célio Maciel in the 16th minute of play forced Falcatrua F.C's goalkeeper Genílson Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natanael Marquez having to interfere. Júnior Esteves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frank Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Júnior Esteves got free with Natanael Marquez in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cesinha Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Falcatrua F.C's zone, Célio Maciel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genílson Bastos came out of the goal and Célio Maciel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Diorama AD booed when Falcatrua F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giuseppe Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Frank Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Falcatrua F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Diorama AD were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cesinha Queirós was the one to do the kick off. Falcatrua F.C's Renato de Sena got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 56 played minutes Diorama AD got a freekick which was hit by Roger Aguiar. Natanael Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júnior Esteves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute Cesinha Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genílson Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Célio Maciel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genílson Bastos having to interfere. Natanael Marquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior Esteves in the 91st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Cesinha Queirós's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Genílson Bastos was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Diorama AD walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
