Valdemar Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juninho Quirino in the 5th minute of the match. Benê Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Valdemar Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juninho Quirino in the 8th minute of play forced NVS ARTS's goalkeeper Valdemar Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to NVS ARTS getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Walmir da Costa hit a great ball. Juninho Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdemar Faria having to interfere. Dream Raft's Gilvan Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredinho Proença in the 26th minute of play. Gilvan Quadros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giuseppe Catarinense in the 29th minute. Giuseppe Catarinense did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Gilvan Quadros 32 minutes into the match. Valdemar Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juninho Quirino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Alfredinho Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot. NVS ARTS's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredinho Proença was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilvan Quadros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Juninho Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Benê Quirino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dream Raft's supporters rose to their feet, but Benê Quirino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdemar Faria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in NVS ARTS's zone, Benê Quirino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdemar Faria came out of the goal and Benê Quirino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfredinho Proença made a kick off. A collision led to Dream Raft getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Celso Pena hit a great ball. Gilvan Quadros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giuseppe Catarinense's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Benê Quirino struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Valdemar Faria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dream Raft. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benê Quirino got free with Valdemar Faria in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th minute, Thomás Botelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilvan Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giuseppe Catarinense in the 83rd minute of the match. César da Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Dream Raft's Válbson Montenegro got a free kick in the 86th minute. Celso Pena kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Válbson Montenegro hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, Dream Raft's goal looked a bit too open when Giuseppe Catarinense came free, but Gilvan Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Alfredinho Proença ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilvan Quadros was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dream Raft players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for NVS ARTS.
