The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gugu Brito in the 2nd minute of play forced SC Internacional's goalkeeper Mazinho Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dedé Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Mazinho Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bola Na Rede's Matías Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felippe Pena in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to SC Internacional getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Vladimir Sarmento hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Joel Urbano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 16 minutes of play, SC Internacional's Egídio Saraiva made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matías Quirino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Matías Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felippe Pena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bola Na Rede's Matías Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egídio Saraiva in the 29th minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Gugu Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bola Na Rede's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gugu Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mazinho Branco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dedé Branco in the 44th minute. Bola Na Rede's attack was well implemented in the 46th minute, but when Dedé Branco was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dedé Branco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bola Na Rede's Matías Quirino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Bola Na Rede from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Dedé Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bola Na Rede's supporters rose to their feet, but Dedé Branco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mazinho Branco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th match minute, Bola Na Rede was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedé Branco to maneuver through the defense. Albertinho Donatello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Matías Quirino made a huge save. Bola Na Rede's Matías Quirino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Bola Na Rede from getting a goal against them. Dedé Branco charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dedé Branco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd minute, Dedé Branco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joélson Félix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mazinho Branco having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
