The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto da Silveira in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hélio Abraão saved Sussuapara FC from getting behind. After having played for 5 minutes, Ivo Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RHEDOX's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivo Arce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dida Tepedino's late challenge caught a RHEDOX's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dida Tepedino helped the player get up and apologised. Hélio Abraão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilian Donato went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto da Silveira in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hélio Abraão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sussuapara FC's goalkeeper Hélio Abraão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Sussuapara FC's Dida Tepedino got a free kick in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto da Silveira in the 38th minute of play forced Sussuapara FC's goalkeeper Hélio Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franklin Urbano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Alberto da Silveira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sussuapara FC's Hélio Abraão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wilian Donato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Alberto da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dadá Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After 62 played minutes Sussuapara FC got a freekick which was hit by Júlio do Vale. Oséias Recife got a throw-in 67 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Dedê Teles. In the 70th minute, Danilo da Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hélio Abraão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilian Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute Alberto da Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélio Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conrado Loyola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Tolga Zengin made a huge save. Wilian Donato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélio Abraão having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, RHEDOX's Wilian Donato sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hélio Abraão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Júlio do Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Alberto da Silveira might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hélio Abraão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto da Silveira ran back to his position shaking his head. The RHEDOX fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. RHEDOX walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
