Luiz Gustavo Donato could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Nildo Abraão made a huge save. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cachimba's goalkeeper Nildo Abraão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cachimba's Nildo Abraão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Saldanha in the 10th minute of play. Marco Koehler hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Chico Loyola from long distance, 12 minutes into the match, got Nildo Abraão's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The referee gave Cuc´s a penalty, 18 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Chico Loyola, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cachimba's Nildo Abraão. 1-0. Samuca Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute Henrique Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nildo Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the last second Nildo Abraão throw himself and got hold of the ball when Henrique Saldanha in the 26thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. With his leg Nildo Abraão managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Cuc´s's Luiz Gustavo Donato fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 28th minute, Juninho Arruda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Henrique Saldanha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nildo Abraão having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Gustavo Donato got free with Nildo Abraão in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nildo Abraão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Koehler during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th minute, one of Cachimba:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cachimba. If Henrique Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juninho Arruda made a kick off. Nildo Abraão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Gustavo Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tião Dias fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cuc´s's protests and gave Tião Dias a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juninho Arruda in the 59th minute of play forced Cuc´s's goalkeeper Eriberto Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Juninho Arruda kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eriberto Arósio. That made the score 2-1 in the 62 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cachimba's Marco Koehler got a free kick in the 70th minute. Nildo Abraão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Gustavo Donato in the 73rd minute of the match. Luiz Gustavo Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nildo Abraão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Gustavo Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 94th minute of the match Chico Loyola sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nildo Abraão skillfully saved the ball. Cuc´s's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
