Caco Corrêa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baltazar Hoffmann struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Hamílton Pitta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for sua vó. sua vó's Baltazar Hoffmann got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baltazar Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomás Romero during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mosby FC's Tomás Romero got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute, Olavo Custódio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

If Baltazar Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 55 played minutes Mosby FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Romero. Olavo Custódio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamílton Pitta having to interfere. Marco Correia's late challenge caught a Mosby FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Correia helped the player get up and apologised. After 63 played minutes sua vó got a freekick which was hit by Marco Correia. sua vó's Victor Maciel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dagoberto Pires in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of sua vó booed when Mosby FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wágner Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victor Maciel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dagoberto Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for sua vó! If Olavo Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Mosby FC booed when sua vó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cícero Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victor Maciel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Lara in the 89th minute of play. After 92 played minutes sua vó got a freekick which was hit by Tarcisio Vieira. Dagoberto Pires's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Maciel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Victor Maciel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caco Corrêa in the 98th minute of the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Mosby FC were victorious despite being under pressure from sua vó for much of the match.
