Chico Cabral didn't quite understand what happened when in the 9 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Luisão Coutinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Costa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Lucas Seco hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, União Feminina's goal looked a bit too open when Vânderson Tavares came free, but Marcelinho Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 minutes, Marcus Romero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the União Feminina and the Meaipe EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luís Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute, Luisão Coutinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Costa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 40th match minute, Meaipe EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chico Cabral to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Luisão Coutinho made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Luiz Fabiano Goiano made a precise shot to the right of Luís Costa. Meaipe EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. If Marcus Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luisão Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Costa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luisão Coutinho went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 78 minutes into the game, Luisão Coutinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. União Feminina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Meaipe EC the free kick. Marcelinho Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vânderson Tavares in the 79th minute of play. Luís Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisão Coutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Carlos Augusto Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Costa having to interfere.
