In the 2nd match minute, Registro FC Brasil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César Cunha to maneuver through the defense. Guaporé FC's Márcio da Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tarcisio Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Márcio da Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. César Cunha hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The supporters of Guaporé FC booed when Registro FC Brasil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Schmidt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guaporé FC's Tarcisio Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Schmidt in the 25th minute of play. Lucas Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. If Eduardo de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tarcisio Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo de Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Pereira in the 31st minute of play forced Guaporé FC's goalkeeper Tarcisio Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Registro FC Brasil's goalkeeper Luizinho Mesquita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Guaporé FC defense, Alessandro Schmidt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tarcisio Soares. The Guaporé FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tarcisio Soares should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eduardo de Azevedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Registro FC Brasil's Joaquim Vale sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tarcisio Soares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Thiago Pereira came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Registro FC Brasil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thiago Pereira couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Guaporé FC's Tarcisio Soares got control of the ball when Thiago Pereira tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo de Azevedo in the 62nd minute of play forced Guaporé FC's goalkeeper Tarcisio Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tarcisio Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Vale in the 67th minute of the match. Alessandro Schmidt came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tarcisio Soares could save by the left post. Hílton Mesquita took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tarcisio Soares. Tarcisio Soares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Márcio da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guaporé FC's Tarcisio Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Vale in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Registro FC Brasil's Eduardo de Azevedo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tarcisio Soares. Tarcisio Soares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. 84 minutes into the match, Thiago Pereira notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Guaporé FC's Tarcisio Soares. Tarcisio Soares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tarcisio Soares stood somewhat misplaced when Joaquim Vale came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 90 minute.
