In the 18th minute Laércio Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Guilherme de Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emerson Sheikh in the 22nd minute of play forced Rapozinha F.C's goalkeeper Luís Guilherme de Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cesinha Abreu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juninho Silveira's late challenge caught a Rapozinha F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juninho Silveira helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Rapozinha F.C booed when Beneficente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juninho Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Guilherme de Sena was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emerson Sheikh showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 55 minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Laércio Fernandez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luís Guilherme de Sena. The Rapozinha F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Beneficente were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
